Think Smart Outreach Center, Inc. 21st Century Community Learning Center a nonprofit Drop out Prevention Community Based Organization (CBO) that was established in 2001. Our services are made available to all Harnett County youth ages 2-18 and their families. Our mission is to ensure that youth have access to programs which stimulate their total development in terms of intellectual, social, physical, cultural, and ethical growth. Our overall goal is for our participants to graduate from high school and attend a post-secondary educational institution. We are pleased to announce that we have a 97% high school graduation rate from those enrolled in our after school program in which all of those students were accepted into college.
Our program currently works in collaboration with Department of Public Instruction, Harnett County Schools, Williams' Recreational Center, North Carolina Communities in Schools (CIS), Harnett County Health Department, Williams' Tax Service, Triangle South Enterprise Center, Office of Juvenile Justice, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, North Carolina State University Science House, Central Carolina Community College, Fayetteville State University, Campbell University, The Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, and The Carolina Panthers. The program is a member of After School for All, Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce, and Collegeboard
